Airhead Animation are over the moon to have helped Savers win an award for “Best Learning & Development Initiative in 2016” at the AS Watson Group Annual European HR Directors Conference.
AS Watson Group is the largest international health & beauty retailer across Europe and Asia. Their 13 retail brands include the Savers and Superdrug store chains in the UK. Savers Senior Learning and Development team wanted to teach their store staff the importance of their Customers Journey at the Savers Pre-Christmas Sales Conference, attended by over 700 managers and assistant store managers.
They approached Sam Finlay, Head of Scribbling at Highbridge based Airhead Animation, to explore and find out more about using whiteboard animations for this task. The Savers management team in Dunstable, realizing that this type of format typically produces a 15% uplift in memory gain and information retention, were keen to make these videos a key element of the conference.
Airhead Animation worked in close co-operation with the Savers senior management team to develop a series of six short whiteboard animations. Completed within extremely tight deadlines these provided an introduction, explanation and summary of the key elements of the Savers Customer Journey experience, right from initial Brand Awareness through to ongoing Customer Care.
The results were very favourably received and judged by the Watson Group HR Directors to have done a great job of clearly and memorably outlining the customer journey story for management and staff across all their stores nationally. They now form a core element within their induction and staff training regime.
Airhead Animation also created a simple password protected mobile optimised website and authored a Master DVD to assist Savers in the distribution of the Customer Journey Animations to store staff nationally as an integral part of their new Learning & Development initiative.
